सोशल मीडिया पर ज्यादातर इमेजेस एडिटेड होती है, जिनका वास्तविकता से कोई सरोकार नहीं होता - डॉ. पुणेकर

 श्री उमिया कन्या महाविद्यालय में आज Biodiversity in Social Media विषय पर सेमीनार का आयोजन किया गया। सेमीनार में वक्ता के रूप में वरिष्ठ शिक्षाविद डॉ. सुशांत पुणेकर उपस्थित थे। 

डॉ. पुणेकर ने बताया कि सोशल मीडिया में बायोडाइवर्सिटी का उपयोग किस तरह से हो रहा है, पेड़-पौधे, पशु-पक्षियों का उपयोग किस तरह से किया जा रहा है, जिससे आने वाली नई पीढ़ी उन्हे उसी के आधार पर उसी रूप में स्वीकार करेंगी। साथ ही जैव-संरक्षण करने की भी जानकारी दी। 

डॉ. पुणेकर ने महाविद्यालय में आने वाले पक्षियों के संरक्षण का भी उल्लेख किया तथा बताया कि इन पक्षियों के लिए घोंसला तथा दाने की व्यवस्था करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि सोशल मीडिया में जो भी भेजे, पहले देखें कि क्या वह वास्तविक इमेज है या उसे एडिट किया गया है। आजकल ज्यादा से ज्यादा इमेज एडिट की हुई होती है, जिसका वास्तविकता से कोई सरोकार नहीं होता। 

महाविद्यालय प्राचार्या डॉ. अनुपमा छाजेड एवं IQAC को-ऑर्डिनटोर श्रीमती सरिता शर्मा ने वक्ता डॉ. सुशांत पुणेकर का स्वागत किया।
